China / North West: 81 people suffered food poisoning at a wedding feast
81 guests at a wedding banquet offered in a restaurant district Shiquan, Shaanxi province (north-west) were transferred for medical observation at a local hospital after symoptôme of reported food poisoning, according to a source quoted in the newspaper China Daily business news.
The guests had symptoms of vomiting and diaree after eating foods perceived as having quality problems.
31 of 81 patients were hospitalized. Most of them are in good physical condition. An investigation into the cause of poisoning is ongoing, the same source.
