Bush wants a new UN resolution on Iraq
U.S. President George W. Bush said Tuesday he wanted a new UN resolution on Iraq to encourage more countries to send troops to Iraq to help stabilize the situation in this oil-rich country.
“I think one of the things you see is an increased involvement of the UN regarding the political process (in Iraq). This is beneficial, “Bush said during a press conference at the White House.
“I want to get a new resolution of the Security Council of the UN will push other countries to decide to participate,” he said.
