Upcoming talks between China and Great Britain, Germany and Australia on human rights
China will hold another meeting on human rights with Britain, Germany and Australia, said Tuesday Kong Quan, spokesman of Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At a press conference routine, Kong Quan said the Chinese government consistently supports the dialogue on human rights must be on a basis of equality and mutual respect so that countries reduce their differences, broaden their consensus, learned from one another and achieve progress.
In recent years, he added, China has conducted dialogue and increased communication on human rights with other countries, obtaining positive results.
China, after consultations with other parties, will begin the 11th dialogue on human rights with Great Britain on 13 and l4 May in London, 4th dialogue with Germany on 24 on May 28 in Berlin. China will next July 8th interview on human rights with Australia, said Kong Quan.
An assessment mission of the High Commissioner of United Nations Human Rights was also invited to visit China from May 17 to 25 next, according to Kong Quan.
