Replying to a question on the escalation of Israeli military actions on the Gaza strip, Mr. Liu urged Israel to reverse a political solution.

China has expressed its deep sympathy to the Palestinian people and has recently decided to provide humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian side, together with the international community, Liu said.
