A stone of agate weighing 6 tons was unearthed in Liaoning province in China’s northeast. It is the largest of its kind in the world.

This precious stone was discovered by Wang Fukun, a farmer from the village of Qijia culture of the autonomous district of the ethnic Mongol Liaoning Fuxin when operated stones last August.

The agate stones are mainly produced in the provinces of Heilongjiang and Liaoning in China’s northeast and in the central province of Hubei. District Fuxin is considered one of the largest districts in the production of agate country.

Most stones agate discoveries in the world weigh less than 800 kg, while the stone weighs about 6 tons with a bright color, said a local official.
