China issues new regulations on banking supervision

The Regulatory Commission China Banking (CRBC) has recently promulgated a regulation defining the rules for transactions between commercial banks and affiliated parties.

The new regulation will enter into force on the first May 2004, aims to enhance supervision over banking institutions in China, much of which are under restructuring.

Regulation has given a detailed definition of the “affiliated transactions” and listed the different types of transactions. The parties are affiliated in particular shareholders and senior bank officials.

“Major risks are hiding behind the unfair affiliated transactions between commercial banks and affiliated parties, which affects the functions of healthy and stable banks.” warned an official with the CBRC.

中国的银行监管问题新规定

的中国银行业监督管理委员会(路桥)最近颁布了一项条例,规定商业银行与关联方交易的规则。

新规例将生效的第一个2004年5月,目的是加强对在中国银行业金融机构的监管,其中大部分是在结构调整。

规例已作出了“关联交易”的详细定义,并列出了不同类型的交易。有关各方,特别是有联系的股东和高级银行官员。

“是背后的商业银行与关联方,影响健康,稳定银行的职能不公平关联交易隐藏主要风险。”警告与银监会有关负责人。
